Position Overview
Software Developer, React Redux, will take a user-centric lens to make complex data accessible for business users through interactive data visualizations. You have a rare combination of data science, ML, UI engineering skills, and deep programming expertise.
Part designer, part front-end developer, and part data scientist – you will bring a versatile approach to transform the visualization in promethium products.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform user research to understand the needs of business users and decision-makers
Prototype ideas to validate them with real data and real users
Lead an interdisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, designers to create Visualization products
Lead data engineering teams to put designs into production
Development of custom web-based data visualization solutions for business users
Adoption of machine learning and AI models integrated into data visualization solutions
About You
Minimum Education:
Degree in Computer Science, or a related area
Have a portfolio of web applications / data visualization
Years and Type of Experience Required:
+1 years of professional experience developing data-rich applications
Skills:
Experience with UX/UI concepts, design thinking, interface usability, and a demonstration of good design flow in interactive applications
Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and libraries (e.g., D3.js. plotly, R Shiny, Three.JS)
Experience with modern React/JavaScript/CSS/HTML front end development frameworks
Experience with engineering practices such as continuous delivery, clean code and automated testing
