We are excited to announce the Enterprise Data Copilot, a new and interactive experience for data analysts and business analysts to discover and interact with all your enterprise data. The Data Copilot is focused on delivering:

  1. A full Gen-AI experience to discover and build data products

  2. An iterative and interactive experience to help users navigate to their own answers

  3. A 100% no-code experience for business users who don’t wish to write SQL

All of this is only possible by having the Data Copilot resting on top of Promethium’s award-winning Instant Data Fabric platform.  By providing a unified and consistent view across all data sources, the Promethium Instant Data Fabric allows enterprises to have a single layer of access, governance, and security for easy and secure access to the enterprise data for analytics. Promethium’s user experience is centered around a single end-to-end workflow which simplifies the work for data teams that would normally have to stitch together multiple data sources to complete tasks such as discovery, prep, transformation up to data product publication.

Promethium's Enterprise Data Copilot makes it even easier for users to interact with data in a natural way. The copilot is interactive, allows for iteration, simplifies engagement, provides flexible integration points, and is powered by Promethium's Instant Data Fabric.

The Copilot brings an enhanced user experience in five key areas:

  1. Interactivity: Data teams can now start a single session where they can interact with the fabric and the data in natural language (like a notebook). They can start with basic questions, receive interactive answers, and progressively refine their work as they build towards finalized queries and validated data products.

  1. Iteration & Memory: The Data Copilot enables users to iterate on past responses, allowing it to learn from previous interactions and continuously improve. It leverages the memory of user actions, incorporating past work done by other data teams and integrating active metadata, including endorsements, to provide more accurate and relevant results over time.

  1. Simplified User Engagement: The Data Copilot meets users where they are, allowing less technical users to easily engage with the fabric and enterprise data. It supports a wide range of tasks -from discovering and better understanding data or reviewing past work, to more advanced exploration of specific data sets, lineage, testing results, and even full query design.

  1. Flexible Integration: The Data Copilot supports a wide range of integrations, including existing tools like BI platforms, APIs for applications or AI/ML ecosystems, as well as development environments (e.g., VSCode), transformation tools (like DBT), and code repositories such as Git.

  2. Multi-stage Hydration From The Data Fabric: The Data Copilot automatically inherits context from the various stages of the data fabric, which supports the entire lifecycle of data products – from discovery, querying, and preparation to building and publishing. This allows the Copilot to seamlessly align with the workflows of heterogeneous enterprise data.

The Data Copilot is an advancement on Promethium’s goal to enable any consumer of analytics to discover, build and answer their own questions. As pioneers in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text-to-SQL, Promethium Is thrilled to enhance our conversational analytics offering with our Data Copilot.
